Overcome Burnout & Master It.

One MOM's recent posted on Facebook, "You guys mind sharing what you do to keep from burning out? Busy boy mom of 3 and I'm tired!" 

Here's what I replied: 

I would recommend to start thinking 💭 in terms of one ☝🏼

You have 3 very young kids.

❤︎ One offer

❤︎ Post once a day

❤︎ Market to one client identity

❤︎ One marketing strategy

❤︎ Do one self-care thing a day

❤︎ Have one partner 😆

You get the idea 🤗

Just think in terms of one beautiful.

I had two small kids, a dog, a husband, a business, a full time job, went for my bachelors, masters, and PhD. I was also a body builder for 6 years straight and now just a fitness enthusiast.

For 20 years.

My son is now 16, daughter is 21, dog passed away, I’m 43 soon and let me tell you that you can still reach burnout even with grown children who don’t live in the home.

So I have a solution! ✨

I did the best that I could with the 1 concept. I was able to succeed more times than fail.

I failed and succeeded in many ways.

I experienced burnout more times than I can count.

You’re still going to burnout here and there. That’s normal. Don’t believe that it won't happen again.

HOWEVER, there’s always a better way and the 1 concept helped me to burnout 80-98% less than I had before during those years.

Flip Side: There is a secret! 🤫

There is something that I call 'the invisible line _____ called burnout.' When you see yourself 5 feet 👣 away from burnout energetically…STOP.

Don’t take another step forward. This is pause time. Stop time. Self-love and rest time.

Some things will have to take a back seat or roll over to the next day or next week. A calendar planner is your best friend. Fulfill ONE dream at a time.

Just make sure your health and your children’s health/family health don’t suffer as you build.

Ask for help and when there is none, let something go or pause a dream or desire until you can press play again.

Use what I call the 'press play, pause, or stop' on dreams, relationships, ideas, goals, desires, etc.

If you're experiencing burnout or have in the past, thinking in smaller increments or in smaller terms or portions can help you keen things lean. 

When there is just too much going on, the best thing to do for your dreams and goals is think smaller. Think leaner. Think ONE step in ONE direction at ONE time. 

Contrary to the "Think Big" concept, I recommend that you think big in terms of your dreams and goals. But, when implementing and when having a lot on your plate, think small. 

This will keep your from being overwhelmed and burnt-out.
